Hi my name is Sebastian and today I am going to talk about Yaldhurst Model Schools final assembly. On Thursday we had our final assembly and it was amazing I really liked it  but at the end I cried and I just wanted to go home but I had to go to my mum and Dads work. It was great being at my mum and Dads work, it was really fun. The bus ride to the working mens club was great I really like the Hornby  Working Men's club at the working mens club we have Disco and our end year assembly. wild eyes by Sebastian.

Hi everyone my name is Sebastian and today I am going to talk about wild eyes that I have been doing on Tuesday. On Tuesday we do wild eyes and for wild eyes I am doing crystal magician for wild eyes and it is really fun.  For Crystal magician we used 1.Borax
                                                                                2. hot water
                                                                                 3. deep container
                                                                                 4. pipe cleaners
To do this you have to use the right ingredients because if you don't use the right ingredients then you will have no crystals. With the pipe cleaners you can make any shape you want. PET DAY! by Sebastian

Hi everyone my name is Sebastian and today I am going to talk about PET DAY! Who likes pet day? Well I like pet day. Pet Day is fun because you get to bring your own pet to school and that is really cool. Pet Day is about bringing your pet to school and showing them off at school. Today at 2.30p.m  we get to bringing our pets to school. At Pet Day there is a sausage sizzle and a bake sale too,it is really cool. On Thursday a dog handling person came to YMS to teach us how to handle a dog correctly. I found the talk very interesting and learnt that it is important to ask permission before you pat a dog. The photo below show me pating the handler's dog after I asked him if was all right. Did you bringing a pet to your school? My favourite pet at pet day were the rabbits because they are cute. Hi everyone my name is Sebastian and today I am going to talk us Rimu going to the a&p show. On Thursday we went to the a&p show it fun. In my dream mansion, there would also be a games room. This is where I would play with my nintendo switch, on Minecraft. This is a gaming room but some people call it a games room. Who would think a games room would be cool. I am going to have a chromebook in my games room.

A fraction of a thing

Hi everyone, Who likes fractions? I did not like fractions until this week. Everything changed and now not only do I like fractions now but I also understand them. This is a half of an oval 2.4 quarter of a circle to. Some shapes have halfs and some shapes don't have halfs but that is ok. Well the smalls is 1/16 wow how small would 1/16 be.Do you think that 1/16 is smaller or do you think 1/100 is smaller well that is all I can say for week. making Chocolate chip cookies

On Wednesday night I made Chocolate chip cookies. It was so fun making Chocolate chip cookies with my mum. 

This is the recipe we used: 

Chocolate chip cookies 

150 grams soft unsalted butter 

125 grams soft light brown sugar 

100 grams caster sugar 

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 

1 egg (fridge-cold) 

1 egg yolk (fridge-cold) 

300 grams flour

½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 

1 x 326 grams packet milk chocolate morsels or chips 

METHOD 

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C/150°C Fan/325°F. Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. 

2. Melt the butter and let it cool a bit. Put the brown and white sugars into a bowl, pour the slightly cooled, melted butter over them and beat together. 

3. Beat in the vanilla, the cold egg and cold egg yolk until your mixture is light and creamy. 

4. Slowly mix in the flour and bicarb until just blended, then fold in the chocolate chips. 

5. Scoop the cookie dough into an American quarter-cup measure or a 60ml/quarter cup round ice-cream scoop and drop onto the prepared baking sheet, plopping the cookies down about 8cm/3 inches apart. You will need to make these in 2 batches, keeping the bowl of cookie dough in the fridge between batches. 

6. Bake for 15–17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.

On Friday our whole class gets reward time if we have done all of our homework. I don't like doing homework. Who else doesn't like homework? Okay, look I know everyone does not like homework. But you have to just do it because if you don't do it then you have to do it in your reward time and that is not cool at all. Well I have some things to tell you all today...
1. If you don't do your homework that means you have to stay in at play. So do your homework at home.
2. Do your homework every day of the week because then it is less of a rush at the end of the week.

Helicopter trip in Kaikoura

Hi my name is Sebastian and today I am going to talk about the helicopter trip in Kaikoura. Hey guys I am back with my last blog today as it is the last day of term 3. Everybody I hope you have had a good term 3. Right,it is time to talk about my helicopter trip. On Wednesday mum,Dad and I went to Kaikoura. When we got to Kaikoura we went to the hotel. The hotel was a bit small but comfortable I liked the beds.In the hotel they were the best beds ever. Once we had put our stuff in the hotel we went and had dinner. When we had finished at dinner we went back to the hotel and went to bed. The next morning it was a hot day in Kaikoura I was happy that it was a hot day. Before we went to the helicopter area we went and had breakfast. After we had breakfast we went to the helicopter area. Outside in the sea there were some whales and dolphins outside at sea it was a amazing. Then after a  while we got into the helicopter and I asked the person's name was Jess and I was happy. Then the pilot turned on the helicopter and we were off over the sea.When I was in the helicopter I saw a male sperm whale,he stayed up for 10 minutes up on the water. Then we went of to the dusky dolphins.they were amazing,After the dusky dolphins we went and saw the seals I loved it they were beautiful. When we landed we got out of the helicopter and we did one last thing before we left Kaikoura. This is a photo of the helicopter.       

Special Olympics in Auckland

Hi my name is Sebastian and today I am going to talk about the Special Olympics game in Auckland. hey guys back from  Auckland where I had my Special Olympics game it was amazing there in Auckland. We had won against the coaches I was so happy that we won in that game I got a bit scared about our whole team was going to lose. Here are some photos from the game. Terrible terrifying tornadoes

Hi everybody my name is Sebastian have you ever been in a tornado before? This week I read my speech I wrote about tornadoes to class I enjoy learning new facts about tornadoes. Do you know that an f5 tornado has wind speed up to 200 mph and that is big. An f0 is minimal. Today I will uncover the mysteries behind  these big terrible terrifying storms. Here is an example of my 
speech. Terrible terrifying tornadoes tearing through town.Hi everybody today I am going to tell you about tornados. The biggest tornado ever was the Joplin tornado ,it started off as an f4 tornado then it turned into an f5 tornado and that was not good as many people lost their lives in this  terrifying tornado. Tornadoes are big, no one can stop these terrible terrifying tornadoes tearing through towns and causing damage. Tornadoes are graded from f0 to f1 to f2 to f3 to f4 to f5.the damage from an f0 tornado is minimal. Where as the damage from f4 to f5 tornadoes is big ,they can destroy homes and cars in just one hit .Some f5 tornadoes can stay on the ground for 30Minutes or 40Minutes or longer. s If you are wondering when and where tornadoes happen?North America has many tornadoes every May and April. What causes these storms all around the world today? It  is the greenhouse gases are causing these tornadoes. our trip into town Christchurch

Hi everybody, my name is Sebastian from Yaldhurst Model School and today I am going to talk about the Christchurch town trip that our class went on.

On Wednesday we went on a class trip and we went to the town and went to the library and we had a  tour around the library. When we had finished our tour in the library we had a walk around town. When we had finished our walk we all went to the Margaret Mahy playground and had lunch at the Margaret Mahy playground. When we had finished lunch we all had a play and people were running around like cheetahs and laughing like monkeys at the playground. When we were finished on the playground we went to the next playground and played on that one too. Then we went on another walked to the library and we all did a lego competition at the library, when we had finished the lego  we went back on the bus back to school. by everybody

When the bell rung outside and we all went to the mat. When we were finished  on the mat we did reading, after reading we did Maths. I did Correspondence work for Maths on Wednesday. I was learning about distance by rolling objects along the floor. We measured the distance with a paint brush. I really enjoyed Correspondence work.

At your home and you must leave now ok. If you live in a big building you must be in a big building so you can’t get swept away and you can be at the very top of a building. And if you are going in a car you must leave now and must go to your next city and star  there when the flood is over. Then the flood came and I went to the top of my building and I star there and the flood did not go away I got onto a boat and I went away and when I got back from the flood the food was over now but it was not over at all and I star on my boat for ever then the flood was over now and my home was in pics and the home and builds were all in pics. 2 years after the flood and now my home is dun when I get inside I put the TV on and the news was on for the last time the and they said that there is going to be a flood come on why is there going to be the last flood. my home is going to be in pics but it was in the city far away from here it is

To Napier campsite. Then the next day we went to Taupo and went on a yacht

Then we went to Taupo campsite then we all went to New Plymouth which I like

Then on our last day we went back to Wellington for the weekend. On the 20th of April

We were going back on the boat for the last day of the school holidays it was nice to be at home. Then when we had our ted we all went to bed. Then the next morning it was a good

Day it was sunny I had a good day it was great. Then on Monday we all went back to school and it was not very nice at school at all then it was 3.00 pm and we all went home

after school and then I went home to but it wasn't at 3.00 pm at all which was COOL!

It was the best day ever at home which was GREAT!. On Tuesday it was nice and sunny

Which was cool I had the best Tuesday ever which I liked best of all times. I liked my holiday.

and when I was in Wellington I went to Tap pap and that was cool I like Tap pap it is great

Easter Fun Day

Easter book 1 It's  Easter Fun Day today. At school today we are making Easter hats, I have had so much making my hat. This is the best day ever. Easter book 2 My hat is made from green cardboard
and I made ears using the cardboard tube from Gladwrap. Easter book 3 This afternoon our school
is having an Easter hat parade,everyone will wear their hat and they will be judged

the Final Swim

On Friday we had our Final Swim of day. it was a good  Friday for a Swim it was the best day ever.
then we got out of the pool. then the whole school of  went and had lunch

today in School we got books the books are cool I look at one of them and they were good

Three little pigs alternative materials to build a house with.

Three materials other than Straw, Wood or Bricks I would use to build a house that the wolf would not blow down for the three little pigs would be:

pig number 1 Obsidian 

because it is strong it looks cool! because it is made in volcanoes! and it is my favourite building material in minecraft 

Pig number 2 Steel

because it is strong and tough and heavy

Pug number 3 Plastic

because it can be both strong and bendy.  I could build it out of lego bricks.

I  have designed my house for the little pigs using lego. that house I made was amazing, it has three
stories . the wolf could not blow the house down.
